Press release from the City of Spokane: July 5, 2021 On 07-04-21 shortly after 10PM SPD was advised of a stabbing incident in the 1600 block of E Queen Ave. An adult male was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. SPD is actively investigating the incident. Initial information is that the confrontation stemmed from an argument over the lighting of fireworks At this time SPD Major Crimes Unit detectives are investigating. All involved parties are currently accounted for and being interviewed by police.
