EDMONDS, WA — Edmonds police and fire investigators responded to reports of an explosion Tuesday, just a few blocks east of Brackett's Landing. Officers arriving at the scene shortly before noon reported a U-Haul moving truck had exploded in a parking lot near 6th Avenue North and Glen Street and caused significant property damage, but no one appeared to be injured. A preliminary investigation revealed propane tanks left inside the truck may have led to the explosion, police said. We are on scene of a uhaul that exploded near 6/Glen. @SouthSnoFire is onscene as well. There is significant property damage but NO Injuries. Initial info is that this was accidental based on propane tanks left in the vehicle.
