*** WEST PHILLY SESSIONS *** HEALTH IS WEALTH! Come workout and challenge your Physical Body / Mind / & Character! The 100’s health and wellness goals are to raise awareness, provide access to health care and give health information that will ultimately promote behavior change resulting in a healthier lifestyle. (https://100blackmen.org/four-for-the-future/health-wellness/) For youth to participate, they must be fully able to engage in physical activities. If any concerns, please consult your youth's healthcare provider. Youth will engage in exercise using only their body weight (running, jumping jacks, push ups, etc. ). For our fitness workshop youth will be organized into appropriate age groups for their socialization: 1st to 3rd grades4th - 6th grades7th & 8th gradesHigh SchoolWe will incorporate mentoring life affirming lessons during the activities. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The #100BlackMenPhilly Chapter is blessed with several Brothers who stay active and fit as a lifestyle. Some have competed in athletics both in highs school and college while others must stay fit in their career in law enforcement or military. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIZES: Up to (20) $5 eGift Awards for participation ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT NOTE: We will select exact location as close to Rec Center as possible. Please keep in mind this is a public park so we all must accommodate each other. Be prepared to walk a small distance to our location. We will have #100BlackMenPhilly lawn signs up to direct you.
