PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island State police stepped up traffic patrols across the state over the July 4 holiday weekend, charging 19 people with drunken driving. Four of the people charged were from Massachusetts; the remainder were from Rhode Island. Their names are listed below, along with charges.
