NEWTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Department of Health recorded violations at 14 bars, restaurants and eateries in the Newtown area during the month of June. Here's what health inspectors found: Chesterbrook Academy Kitchen, 51 Marigold Dr, NewtownDate Inspected: June 16, 2021Violations: 1 Warewashing facilities: installed, maintained, & used; test stripsInspector Comments: Hot water is not provided at the 3 compartment sinks or handsinks. Provide at least 110°F water at the 3 compartment sinks and 100 °F water at the adult bathroom sink. Dominick's Pizza, 842 Durham Rd Unit 10, WrightstownDate Inspected: June 8, 2021Violations: 2 Proper cold holding temperatureInspector Comments: Pizza Prep Unit is holding an ambient temperature of 52F. Internal temperatures of products in this unit were 52F. Owner stated that the unit was unplugged for a short time while cleaning was being conducted under and around unit. Must discontinue use of this unit until it can properly reach 41F or below.
