I rescued these 3 handsome turtles a couple of months ago from being turtle soup in this Las Vegas heat. My neighbors apparently didn't want them and left them in about an inch of water in a 10 gallon tank next to a dumpster on a hot day. They were tiny babies (about the size of a quarter) and I couldn't let them die...
So after spending over $200 on supplies and doing hours and hours worth of research (I've never owned turtles) on my new babies they are growing quite nicely... They eat well, love to sunbathe and have nice shiny shells (it's a healthy turtle thing) But that means a bigger home will soon be required... I don't want to have to separate or re-home them because they appear to be doing well.
I have frequently seen tanks on the side of the road (never when you need it) so I figured I would ask if anyone has one that they can gift or sell cheap to this new rescue turtle Mom?
