Looking for Musicians Who Wants to Form a Cover Band in Ahwatukee

Hi! My name is Joseph. I played in a rock and roll cover band in Connecticut for 8 years from 2006-2013. We played out once or twice a month at clubs, bars, festivals, and weddings, and the money was good. The songs we played were for people to dance to, so we covered a wide variety of music and styles. The good news is that we were all friends, so we all got along, which is crucial. We had a female vocalist, we had a a male vocalist who played bass, we had a drummer, we had a keyboard player, and I handled guitar (mostly rhythm and some leads). It would be nice to get back into playing, as we moved to Phoenix about 4 years ago. The difficulty, I think, is finding musicians who share your taste in music and also are committed to rehearsals twice a week to get the songs ready for performance. I'm in my late 60's, so that needs to be said. I'm happy to share the set list we used, which favored pop and soul from the 60's and 70's. I don't have a rehearsal space or a PA system. Looking for like-minded musicians who are responsible and committed and ready to work hard to get ready for performances. Ideally, looking for a drummer, a bass player, a keyboard player, and a female or male vocalist who can handle Motown to standard pop songs from the 60's and 70's. Back in Connecticut, at the clubs we started to play began at 9:00 pm and finished at 1:00 am with 3 set lists with breaks. At this stage in my life, I don't care about the money so much. I just enjoy seeing people dancing and grooving to the music we are playing! Looking to play out once or twice in the Ahwatukee area each month.
