Cal Coast Machinery, Inc., is a locally owned company that sells and services agricultural, lawn, garden, and homeowner equipment, as well as carries a complete supply of parts for these types of equipment and more. Department: Service Reports to: Branch Manager Purpose: Performs maintenance duties for the dealership Responsibilities: • Maintenance of the facility and vehicles • Running the wash bay for customer and internal equipment • Detailing equipment using a hot pressure washer • Keep shop trash bins empty, facility swept clean, and storm water drains cleaned periodically • May maintain tool room • May perform grounds maintenance for the dealer properties • May be required to assist in moving displays or equipment within the dealership • Organize our equipment on lot – moving tractors and implements from place to place • Operate a forklift to transport parts, equipment, and supplies for the dealership • Completes duties as assigned by management • Assist customers with incoming/outgoing rental equipment by utilizing company delivery receipts • Always conduct self to present a professional image of the dealership JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: • Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 55 lbs. • Ability to perform multiple duties as assigned • Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures • Forklift experience • Some mechanical background preferred • Valid CA Driver’s License w/acceptable driver record Any job offer made will be contingent on the candidate's successful completion of a background and DMV check, physical exam, and drug screen (which includes marijuana).
