Description

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The City of Sandy Springs is working with MARTA to make bus travel more reliable and trip times shorter. The city want to hear the public's thoughts on transit and what may encourage someone to ride transit in the City of Sandy Springs. The survey will be open through July 16. The purpose of the Georgia Department of Transportation's Statewide Transit Plan is to coordinate with local governments, planning agencies and transit providers to document transit needs across the state and prioritize future investments. The plan will support GDOT's multimodal planning efforts and identify strategies to ensure all Georgians have access to public transit.
