Spectrum Quartz is a leading manufacturer and distributor of engineered stone (quartz) surfaces. Based in Cranbury, NJ and with 8 locations across the country, Spectrum Quartz is seeking qualified candidates to help us achieve our goal of becoming the top distributor of quartz surfaces. The Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering stone slabs and assisting with the general operations of the warehouse. Duties include driving and delivering stone slabs on a non-CDL truck, picking/moving stone slabs, receiving containers, maintaining accurate records in the computer system, and other related duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager. General maintenance and situation specific tasks are also required. Stone slab handling experience preferred but not required. What You'll Do: The Warehouse Driver/Associate shall conduct The Company’s business on a full-time basis by utilizing the facility and approved Company resources. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Inventory control 2. Loading and unloading of Spectrum trucks and LTL shipments 3. Receiving / shipping duties 4. Order pulling and staging 5. Safety procedures OSHA Compliance 6. Assist customers with slab-viewing 7. In the absence of front office management, assume responsibility of personnel and building premises 8. Maintain a valid and clean driver’s license What You'll Need: 1. Valid driver’s license and clean DMV/MVC record 2. Warehouse safety first attitude 3. Attention to detail 4. Strong communications. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
