We are a local band called Mustache and Cleavage, really just the two of us (one male, one female), looking for a piano player. We’re old friends who write and perform, mostly originals. We’ve been honing our style for a few years now, and just before the pandemic, we started playing out. We’re excited to hit the ground running now that things are opening up again. We sometimes write on the piano, but we’re more rhythm guitar players and singers, no piano chops. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for less of a hired gun and more of a co-conspirator. The Benmont to our Tom. We’re not really looking for someone who writes, just someone who can add movement to what we already have. Solid music theory and a great harmony singing voice is a plus but not a requirement. We usually rehearse once a week in Sacramento, sometimes more if we have a gig.
