We are hiring event team members and cooks to work our concessions booth at food/music festivals, street fairs and other events throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, Las Vegas & Northern California. Food Truck experience is a plus as this is a similar environment. Events begin this weekend!
Shared accommodations & carpooling are arranged when we travel out of Southern California. Events generally take place Friday - Sunday with half a day of setup on Thursdays. Event days are typically 10-12 hours each day. We currently run about 30 events per year and are looking to hire individuals who are able to travel & work with us on an ongoing basis.
There are current and future opportunities for supervisor/manager roles for the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
-Set up and tear down event equipment at event sites (tents, tables, banners, cooking equipment)
-Load and unload equipment, food & supplies
-Set up & efficiently run your food or beverage station at events, following proper health and sanitation rules at all times
-Provide excellent customer service and work as a team
- Handle different cooking & prep stations inside the booth (cooks only)
Requirements:
Strong work ethic - honest, punctual and hard working
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods & be comfortable working outside
Team player with positive attitude
Strong customer service skills
California Food Handlers Card
Reliable personal transportation! NO EXCEPTIONS
Food truck/concessions experience is a plus but not necessary.
