Good Morning and Hope this finds you well! We are looking for a Brewery Assistant at The Brews Hall in Torrance where we brew beer under two brands - Buzzrock Brewing Co. and George Lopez's Ta Loco Brewery, and we are a multi concept food hall! The Brewery Assistant position is an entry level brewery position - duties initially will consist of cleaning and organizing around the brewery, and assisting the brewer with getting grain, grain-out, getting hops, etc, and other miscellaneous activities around the brewery. The intention would be for you to quickly learn how to wash kegs, fill them, monitor fermentations and do cellar work, and in the long run our goal would be for you to learn brewhouse and filtration operations to become a brewer. (don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but want to be clear that there is intention for growth in this position) Hours: flexible hours are preferred, but we can establish a schedule that works for both of us. Weekend availability is highly preferred. Plusses: Able to drive a forklift Some brewing experience / education (whether formal or just reading / homebrewing) This is an entry level position so wage will be commensurate.
