Currently seeking a full time groundskeeper in the hills of Los Feliz at a private estate. The position is full time and includes weekends. You should expect that job duties will require late hours and overtime periodically, especially during, but not limited to, large events. The applicants main objective is to assist in the care of 3 large dogs. They would be responsible for walking, feeding and grooming the dogs. Training will be provided on the specifics of caring for the animals. Beyond animal care, the position includes, but is not limited to, general landscape care, general home maintenance, grocery shopping, transporting supplies in between the home and business addresses, and maintaining a reliable home inventory. Travel can be required on a regular and frequent basis, and these trips are mandatory, as the homeowner does extensive business in the Philadelphia and New York area throughout the year, these trips can range anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks at a time. Rate of pay starting at $17 per hour. Benefits include health plan with options for dental and vision benefits, 401k retirement plan, travel per-diem, and paid vacation. Experience with light landscaping, electrical work, plumbing, manual labor would all be beneficial. The ideal candidate is professional, timely, and no-nonsense. They will be working with a team of 6-7 other employees and the ability to work together in unison is a necessity. Fluency in Spanish and English is also a plus.
