Come join our team of Eventurists! American Exposition Services is a national service contractor for the exhibitions, trade show and face to face marketing community. Summary: AES is seeking a Warehouse/ShowSite Team Member Responsible for maintaining and preparing all stock inventory including pulling event equipment according to designated work orders by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Oversees and maintains all stock inventories for warehouse daily.* 2. Follows daily work orders giving special attention to various materials.* 3. Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of fork lift, pallet, and hand truck as required.* 4. Loads/Unloads shipping trucks as required.* 5. Maintains and ensures all equipment is functioning according to established work standards.* 6. Assist with installation / dismantle of exhibit materials at various sites as needed.* 7. Assists shipping/receiving area with package procedures as requested.* 8. Reports any concerns or discrepancies to management.* 9. Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.* 10. Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.* Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates and Licenses: Valid CA driver's license Equipment: • Forklift • Scissor lift • All types of saws Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
