Landscape Install Technician - $18-25 per hour

At the Grounds Guys of Bozeman, or motto is Work Hard, Play Hard! Four 10-hour work days per week is the goal, so we can all enjoy beautiful Montana in the summer. Don't worry, though, plenty of overtime opportunities every weekend as well if you are looking for additional hours and overtime pay. This is a full-time and year-round position, transitioning to snow removal with company equipment in the winter time. We also offer seasonal work (until the end of the landscaping season), but will prioritize full-time applicants over those that prefer seasonal work. A $200 sign-on bonus after 30 days is standard for this position. Specific Responsibilities include: Operating mechanical equipment (skid steers, mini-excavators, trucks, trailers, chain saws, compactors, etc.) Performing basic landscape construction duties (building paver patios, planting trees and shrubs, installing sod, constructing retaining walls, etc.) Occasionally assist with equipment maintenance and basic repairs in the shop, under the supervision of a foreman/manager. Plow operation and snow removal in the winter time. Qualifications needed for the job: 1+ years of landscape, irrigation, or related job experience. The ability to follow directions, work efficiently, and be self-motivated. The more effort you put in to the job, the more good will come out of it! Compensation for the position: Base pay ranges from $18-25 per hour, depending on experience. Base pay is supplemented by a $200 sign-on bonus after 90 days and regularly available overtime pay.
