An established South Jersey business located in Camden County is looking for a maintenance worker to maintain their main office building and surrounding grounds. This position requires someone dependable with the knowledge and ability to perform upkeep tasks such as minor repairs, lawn care, trash removal and lawn care. The ideal candidate will have experience and the physical stamina necessary for this type of work. This position will require the ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily opening of building, unlocking of doors and turning all lights on Maintain grounds, including garden and yard upkeep, trimming, edging, lawn mowing, weeding and weed prevention Perform custodial duties on an as needed basis Maintain all small equipment located on the premises and perform small repairs of same as needed Complete regular maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning forced air ceiling vents and replacing door locks Perform touch up and finish painting as requested and able to spackle, sand and fill holes Empty wastebaskets, roll out dumpsters on trash day and put recycles out weekly Replenish restroom supplies every morning Responsible for maintaining all building supplies to include ordering, stocking in and at times picking up Assist administration with runs to the local post office and miscellaneous errands Report daily work accomplished on written work order to supervisor This is an overview of the job duties but is NOT limited to only these duties REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS Must pass a drug screening test At least 18 years of age Must have a clean background check High School diploma or GED Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objects Reliable transportation Valid Driver License
