Ezreal is a red blood python and a T- albino ivory morph. He was surrendered to us on 2/27/21. Ezreal's original owner was concerned he had nidovirus, a respiratory snake virus, but he has been tested twice by us in two labs (Research Associates Labs and Fishhead Labs) and both tests were negative. He had a minor scale infection upon surrender, but this cleared up almost immediately with several good sheds and a clean environment. Ezreal loves frozen/thawed rats and eats them readily. He is fairly docile, especially for a blood python. Blood pythons are considered an intermediate snake species and need a high humidity enclosure. We will NOT approve glass tanks for blood pythons. Research the species you would like to adopt in advance and consult multiple sources, we are happy to answer questions. Adopters agree to pick-up the animal in Durham within 7 days of their approval. Due to the current pandemic, adoptions will be performed with social distancing in mind.
