We are a reputable dog walking and pet sitting company in Northern Orange County. We are currently looking for a pet sitter / dog walker available to work between the hours of 10:00AM - 4PM on weekdays. This is a part-time position. Requirements for this position are as follows: -MUST LOVE ANIMALS: more specifically, CATS and DOGS. Seriously. You must have a genuine love for cats, dogs and the outdoors. You will need to be comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments. -Must be able to handle the physicality of the job which includes: walking strong dogs, walking many miles, handling more than one dog at a time and walking in extreme heat or rain, back-to-back visits/long days. -Must not be afraid to get dirty. This job requires you to pick up poop (dogs), clean litter boxes and furballs (cats) and do some light cleaning when required. We always leave our client's home better than when we found it. -Must be punctual and extremely dependable. Our clients depend on us to be their pets’ caretakers. We cannot let them down. -Must be professional and respectful with all clients. Customer service and communication skills are essential. -Must be able to perform the job well with minimal supervision. -Must exude trustworthiness. -Must have a smartphone with email capabilities and be able to send pictures via text. -Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Most visits will be in the Anaheim, Fullerton, and Brea area. -Must be able to pass a background check. -Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (we have several clients who live in senior communities/retirement homes). Your pay will be 70% of our booking rate (company takes 30%, you would take 70%). Average hours per week will depend on bookings.
