Waverley Country Club is looking for an organized, hardworking team player to join us as a Housekeeper. Duties include maintaining all amenities to Club standards, managing our laundry rooms, and performing general cleaning duties (i.e. dust furniture, remove cobwebs, vacuum carpets, trash and recycling removal). Ideal candidates will have prior Housekeeping experience, a positive attitude, and outstanding work ethic! The regular work schedule for this position will be Wednesday through Sunday 6:30am to 3:00pm. However, there will be some evening shifts as needed. Interested candidates should apply here: What you will do Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and all public areas. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of Club suites. Respond to member requests in a timely fashion as assigned (laundry, amenities to be delivered to their rooms). Report any damages, safety concerns or maintenance problems to the Maintenance Director immediately. Load and operate washers and dryers. Clean laundry and linen rooms. Clean lamps and windows weekly. Creates an environment that facilitates a welcoming, enjoyable Club experience. Commitment to recognize and acknowledge members by name. Requirements Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. Prioritize and organize. Follow directions thoroughly. Maintain confidentiality of guest information. Prior housekeeping experience in the hospitality service field preferred. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Highly active, multitasking environment. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for extended periods of time. Frequent walking, required to work in various parts of the Clubhouse. Ability to lift, bend, squat, stand, kneel, climb, reach, carry and exert up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to lift/transport up to 50 pounds. Push/pull carts or equipment.
