Description
• Performs various aspects of ramp service functions including transferring and loading of cargo, baggage handling, servicing of airplane cabin interiors and other service functions. Also performs deicing of aircraft and external aircraft and ramp maintenance.
• Responsibilities
• Loads and unloads cargo/mail on and off aircraft.
• Safely operates motorized vehicle (i.e. Tug) to pick-up and deliver cargo/mail between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft.
• Sorts and loads mail and baggage in the outbound baggage room.
• Cleans and services cabin interiors, including cockpit and lavatories, assembles, removes and installs passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies.
• Performs ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units, water service and draining lavatories.
• De-ices and clears aircraft windshields as weather conditions require.
• Performs aircraft pushout/two and related guide man functions.
• Cleans the exterior of aircraft and performs routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities.
• May be assigned routine automotive repair and servicing and cleaning of powered and unpowered equipment.

Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid drivers’ license.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
