Shared Housing Community for seniors and disabled tenants: 10,000 sq. ft. and shelters up to 12 tenants since 1998 has an opening for a unique General Laborer for: maintenance/driving/janitor duties/trash removal. Must be a hard-working skilled at multi-tasking. This is a unique job for an energetic person who loves helping others and has the skills to provide them with a clean and safe environment and assistance. Requirements: *Must have strong work ethic with good workmanship and experience with tools and self-starter. *Team player, always willing to be helpful and polite. *Have excellent basement and closet clean-out and organization skills. *Valid driver's license *Live within 30 minutes of Site. *Pass background check *3 professional references required. Duties Include: Turnover of rooming units, maintain bathrooms, commercial kitchen, laundry room and common areas in good repair. Through building cleaning and disinfecting experience. Assist with food and supply pick-ups and assist with move ins and move outs. Handyman tasks such as furniture assembly, replacing ceiling and floor tiles general repair and maintenance, light plumbing, drywall/paint, light electrical when needed. *Complete service requests and repairs in a timely manner *Answer Emergency calls *Heavy Lifting and carrying out errands are required at times *Maintain grounds of community. *Drive mini wheelchair bus and minivan to transport staff and residents a plus. Skills: Perform minor plumbing, electrical, handyman and painting task. Cutting grass, use weed whacker, branch cutter and chainsaw at various sites and assist with snow removal. Basic knowledge of power tools and ability to work independently and with others. Must have a valid driver's license. CDL-PASSENGER A PLUS. Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
