Looking to put together an eventual 4/5 piece band to provide a new take on fun party songs. Let's deconstruct some popular songs and put them back together to make them fresh. Get people dancing and singing and telling their friends, "I can't believe they played that song...that way!" Think something like Lawrence (the band)... Or Cory Henry and the Funk Apostles. But maybe a little Black Crowes type old school rock and Phish instrumentation thrown in every now and then. The sound will find itself with the right folks and songs. Just want it to be high quality and fun. Me? I play guitar and have plenty of pro quality gear. I am mostly available on weekends or evenings during the week. Would love to practice once a week until gigging and then maybe twice a month with two gigs a month to start. I have contacts at places with music. You? Send me a link to a video of you playing.
