You are missing the point. Trump and Weisselberg have been charged (25 counts between the two of them so far) with compensating / paying board members with untaxed benefits. This is a crime. Benefits need to be taxed just the same as monetary compensation. This is no different than Trump paying his employees in cash under the table.
Trup has also been accused of “cooking” his books. He is keeping double records in order to deceive the IRS. This is also a crime. It’s fraud.
You can continue to try to justify Trumps actions if it makes you feel better about your failed leader, but Trump is a criminal. He will be convicted of these and likely more tax crimes. Trump is defrauding the American people. Trump claims to be a man of law and order yet he breaks laws with regards to his taxes. A thief is a thief. Trump is a thief.
