Fort Collins Truss is now seeking individuals who want to join our team of Truss builders! We are a local company that specialize in custom roof truss systems. We are looking to fill a couple of positions around our shop including; Sawyers - Responsible for loading lumber on forklift and safely transporting lumber to the saws for cutting, in charge of running saws and keeping shop fed with correct lumber. Lumber Handlers/Truss Assembler - Responsible for loading material from carts onto machine tables for the builder, in charge of passing out plates and assist builder in the manufacturing of trusses. Truss Builders - Builds trusses using engineered drawings, uses tape measure to ensure correct product, delegates work on table for lumber handlers and assemblers. Truss Stackers - Responsible for stacking trusses according to job and stacking order. Attention to detail is must as the Stacker is also quality control for the shop to ensure that all of our product is correct and meets all requirements to go to jobsite, this person also assists Drivers with the loading of our trucks. All of these positions start anywhere from $15.00 - $17.00 depending on experience. These are all full time positions of 40+ hours a week with the opportunity of extra overtime! Basic hand tool knowledge is preferred but not required as we are willing to train the right people.
