Description
Plumber/handyman needed for apartment repairs and maintenance. Must have full knowledge of plumbing/heating repairs and be able to handle general building maintenance. A knowledge of carpentry and electric would also be helpful. Must work in an efficient manner to get tasks done in a timely fashion. Candidate will work an 8 hour day and the schedule can include Saturday and Sunday as normal work days. Work shift can be from 8am to 5pm or 1pm to 10pm. Heavy lifting could be required.
The position starts with a 120 day trial period. This could lead to permanent employment if you meet with the approval of the manager and supers at the end of this period, entering Union 32B/32J and receiving exceptional health and other benefits once joining the union.
Starting pay is determined by your level of expertise -Proof of legal status, social security card, required.
