Royalty Cleaning Experts is looking for full time and part time porters to clean residential apartments in Glen Cove, Long Island. Must have reliable transportation to and from the buildings as the LIRR is about a 25 min walk from the location (unless that’s not an issue). N27 bus route is the closest option if you are familiar with the area but car would be best. Duties: The apartments are residential and need cleanings based on what the client is requesting. Some are basic cleanings, others are deep cleanings. Porter will be working at least 25-40 hours per week depending on the amount of requests for that current week. See below cleaning duties: Rooms: - Tidy up and general organizing - Dust all accessible surface - Wipe all mirrors and glass fixtures - Clean all floor surfaces - Empty trash & recycling (bring to trash chute, replace bags) - Clean interior windows - Wipe down baseboards - Wipe down blinds - Disinfect switches and doorknobs - Clean waste bins Bedrooms: - Make bed(s) (with existing linens) - Make bed(s) and replace with clean linens (if left out / indicated in preferences) Bathrooms: - Wash and sanitize sink(s) & toilet(s) - Wash and sanitize tub(s) & shower(s) - Wash and sanitize sink - Scrub grout Kitchen: - Wipe down stove top - Wipe down microwave - Load dishwasher and clear sink - Wipe down countertop - Scrub microwave - Scrub and wipe down countertop Requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must have reliable references Must have at least 1 year of cleaning experience Start date: July 12th, 2021 Transportation as far as gas or metrocard compensation could be discussed.
