Lead guitarist is looking to start/join a three piece working cover band playing harder edge 80's, 90's 2000's and Post Millennium Rock/Metal I'm looking for a working cover band that plays locally in and around the tri-state area. I have been playing for 35+ years, have a ton of band experience and I can cover everything from Classic Rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, Acid Rock, Rock, R&B, Blues, Top 40 to Jazz Standards etc etc etc. My influences : Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Dream Theater, Eric Johnson, Pink Floyd, Ratt, Dokkenn, Gamalon, Journey, I'm an easy going musician with no drama and I'm basically looking to start/join a three/four piece group with that same type of personality to complete/form a band. I'm older ( 55 ) however age doesn't matter, could be older or younger, maturity level does. I'm also flexible as far as the material goes as long as it's ' A-list ' material. Please..No ' B-side ' material or obscure music. I'm looking for players who aren't afraid to show off they're craft, take a solo here and there and be ' in your face ' It's what will make us stand out from the rest. Looking to rehearse once or twice a week I have pro equipment ( everything from Full/1/2 stacks to combos ) and my own transportation. I'm a very quick study and I'm looking for serious players
