Join us for a living history portrayal of Winston Churchill with Terry Lynch. Bulldog Winston Churchill was one of the most influential people of the 20th century. From his participation in the Boer War as a military journalist, to his time as first lord of the Admiralty, his career in Parliament and finally his becoming British Prime Minister in 1940, Churchill saw England through some of the darkest days of WWII. Hear the story of the life and career of this larger-than-life character. COVID-19 GUIDELINES This event will adhere to State of Illinois Bridge Phase 5 Guidelines. The DuPage County Historical Museum functions as the only institution dedicated to the collection, preservation and interpretation of the material culture documenting the county of DuPage, Illinois. Its principal purposes are to educate the general public through the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of materials which document the history of DuPage County and its relationship to Illinois and the nation, and to provide local history services for historical organizations and for scholarly endeavors.
