ChessPalace chess camps provide a variety of chess activities. From lectures to practice tournaments, students will have a continuous exercise of their mental skills and acuity through chess. Lessons will include the basics, openings and endings, pattern recognitions, tactics & strategy, and many more. Chess camp at the ChessPalace is a fun way to learn a classic game and develop valuable skills for future success.
There are two sessions available: morning half for grades K-3 and the afternoon half for students in grades 4-6; please pick the relevant school level. Camp is limited to 6 students.
At the end of the session, campers will play in a tournament among themselves. While school is on break, learning shouldn't stop. Sign up now and let the learning continue!

8:30 AM - 12:00 pm for Kindergarten to 3rd grade
or
2:00 - 5:30 pm for 4th grade to 6th grade level
Each session is $400 per chess player/ per session.
* Students must wear face masks. Wipes and hand sanitizers will be made available and encouraged to be used frequently.

ChessPalace is a chess club in the Orange County, California area. We are located at 5246 Lampson Ave. Garden Grove, CA near where the 405 freeway and the 22 freeway intersect.
We host chess tournaments, offer classes and lessons, and sell chess books and merchandise.
