ChessPalace provides a variety of chess activities. From lectures to practice tournament, students will have fun learning and playing chess ChessPalace chess camps provide a variety of chess activities. From lectures to practice tournaments, students will have a continuous exercise of their mental skills and acuity through chess. Lessons will include the basics, openings and endings, pattern recognitions, tactics & strategy, and many more. Chess camp at the ChessPalace is a fun way to learn a classic game and develop valuable skills for future success. There are two sessions available: morning half for grades K-3 and the afternoon half for students in grades 4-6; please pick the relevant school level. Camp is limited to 6 students. At the end of the session, campers will play in a tournament among themselves. While school is on break, learning shouldn't stop. Sign up now and let the learning continue! **Schedule and Location subject to change to accommodate for requirements related to the pandemic should they arise. We thank you in advance for your flexibility.**2021 Chess Camp ScheduleMonday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 12:00 pm for Kindergarten to 3rd grade or 2:00 - 5:30 pm for 4th grade to 6th grade level Each session is $400 per chess player/ per session. * Students must wear face masks. Wipes and hand sanitizers will be made available and encouraged to be used frequently. Join us for a fun-filled week of chess!  ChessPalace is a chess club in the Orange County, California area. We are located at 5246 Lampson Ave. Garden Grove, CA near where the 405 freeway and the 22 freeway intersect. We host chess tournaments, offer classes and lessons, and sell chess books and merchandise.
