The Killeen Branch NAACP, H-E-B, Colgate and its Community Partners: Backpack Giveaway for the 2021-2022 school year It takes a Village! The Killeen Branch NAACP, H-E-B, Colgate and its Community Partners are Back! The Back 2 School Backpack Giveaway will be Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11am at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4201 Zephyr Road in Killeen. Our goal is to encourage and motivate our students for the upcoming school year. This is our way of sowing a seed into our youth to add to their success and to be a beacon of hope in their educational journey! Families can receive up to 4 backpacks per household. Together, We Make A Difference! Partners include: H-E-B; Colgate; Lone Star (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated; The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Killeen; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Mu Theta Omega Chapter; Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Kappa Sigma Lambda Chapter; Killeen Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Omicron Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; Theta Delta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.; Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.; and the Mu Tau Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
