We have a whole new lineup that'll absolutely crack you up! David Martinez is a member of The Academy of Magical Arts and performs family friendly comedy magic for all ages. David's interest in the magical arts began at a very young age. His passion for magic is evident in every show. His family friendly magic compliments every event. It is wonderful to see a child’s look of amazement and excitement while asking, “Mommy, can he come to our next party?”. In addition to performing, he is also a builder and a consultant to many magicians. Lisa Alvarado, “The Latin Queen of Comedy” is Tina Fey meets Sophia Vergara. Lisa brings the funny with clever wit and a sassy, fun attitude. Born to Peruvian immigrant parents, Lisa specializes in sharing her background in a hilarious, relatable way! Lisa is a National Headliner touring the world in many comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events, and military tours. Credits & TV appearances include: Dry Bar Comedy Special, Nick at Nite’s “Funniest Mom in America 2″, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, “Comics Unleashed”, “Stand Up in Stilettos“ on TV Guide Network, NuvoTV, Comedy.tv, and many more. In Sept 2021, Lisa will perform in the HA Comedy Festival sponsored by HBO Max. Ms. Alvarado was voted “Best Up & Coming Latino Comedian” by The LA Comedy Festival and her jokes have been quoted in The New York Times. Lisa is an accomplished writer as well, as staff writer on two different TV shows, one for MTV3 and the other entitled “Funny You Should Ask” adding over 150 episodes to her credits. In 2020, she sold her first feature length script to a streaming company recently acquired by Sony Studios. Lisa is the creator & producer of two original web series, winner of “Best Actress in a Web Series” and “Best Comedy Web Series” Finalist at the Official Latino Short Film Festival. Her first documentary, the critically acclaimed story about a dying man’s final wish to perform Stand Up Comedy and their journey together to accomplish his dream entitled “Don’t Wait: The Michael Schmid Story” is now available to stream at DontWaitMovie.com As owner, Lisa’s goal at LA Amigas Productions is to empower women and ethnically diverse writers, actors, producers, editors and directors while delivering excellent content with a strong point of view and a sh*t ton of depth and humor. Roberto Rodriguez is the next fresh face of comedy. With his explosive energy he is able to make every live performance memorable. For the past 8 years one thing defines every performance, Energy! Roberto draws on his life's experiences, family, and general life observations. Growing up Roberto bit an extension cord and as a result was left with a significant scar. To defend against ridicule he developed a quick wit and gift of making people laugh. It wasn’t till he went to a comedy show with a comedy school flyer, that Roberto started his career with the Tempe Comedy College in Tempe, Az. From there he continued studying comedy and helped grow the local comedy scene. The school gave him an opportunity to venture out and open other rooms giving more opportunities to hone the skills as one of Phoenix’s top comics. He also became a regular at The Comedy Spot and opener at the Tempe Improv which gave him a great spring board. As the comedy scene grew, Roberto was tapped as a rising star in mainstream comedy. With numerous shows including Latin Comedy Explosion and the Latin Princess’of Comedy, Roberto has garnered critical acclaim for his detailed characters, voices, and ability to engage the crowd and bring them into his head. After 6 long years Roberto auditioned for and was chosen for the 2007 Latino Laugh Festival. Riding on the success and exposure of the Festival, he moved to Los Angeles to take his career to the next level. He has been showcased at the Laugh Factory, Regular at the Hollywood Improv, Richard Villa’s Refried Fridays, and is an opener/showcased at the Ice House as well as touring the country. Lamont Bonman is a versatile, clean comedian. From comedy clubs to churches or from prisons to fundraisers, Lamont's quick wit hilarious antics have earned him a loyal following. He's been featured on TBN's praise the lord, (comedy specials) shown in over 80 countries. He's appeared on bets comic view and on Martin Lawrence presents (first amendment on the Starz network). His hilarious character(Rev Monty B Sharpton) has performed in churches all over the U.S. His ghetto magic routine(magic on a budget) is a hit for all ages. He is a two time finalist in the ultimate Laff Down. He has received standing ovations from Las Vegas to New York. If you want something different and fun, then Lamont is a must for your event!!! He landed the role of the brother in the upcoming feature film "8 days Carlo" and in the upcoming TV Series Fifty and Over Club. Host Rudy Moreno has been a National Headlining Comedian for over 25 years with shows in Las Vegas , New York , of course Los Angeles and has worked all of the A-List Comedy Clubs across the country . He has the longest running show in Los Angles at the Ice House in Pasadena this year marks his 20th consecutive year doing shows there . Rudy is also an accomplished guitar player and has a working classic rock band. Rudy and his family are the creators of Komics for Kids an annual fundraising event to help inner city children have a normal Christmas. So whether it be broadcasting on the radio , doing stand up , acting on TV or theater, or just rocking out with his band, Rudy will entertain you . Otherwise, he'll have to go back to that boring job as a bikini model. Host and Nerd Enrique Hernandez is producing and hosting comedy shows in Southern California. You can see him producing shows anywhere from the World Famous Ice House all the way up to your local bars and bowling alleys.
