Rehoming 2 parakeets

Front near Orange, Missoula MT

Description

I have a blue and yellow parakeet pair that need rehomed. I obtained these birds from PetSmart a couple months ago, but am elderly and disabled and have found the upkeep and chirping to be too much. I let them out of the cage each morning as I refuse to keep them caged up, but this results in bird poop everywhere that is overwhelming to clean constantly. They are really pooping machines! I would consider donating them back to Petsmart, but these two birds are bonded and really love each other and would likely get separated at some point if they went back to the store, and that's not fair to them. NOTE: I am asking that only those who are willing to let the birds out of the cage frequently consider taking them. They are used to being out of the cage often. They are easy to get back in the cage as they frequently fly back in it themselves and go in and out of it all day. Also take note they are very vocal. They are honestly a couple of chatterboxes! I am looking for a responsible adopter who loves birds and will take the best care of them. That said, these birds come with a large cage, several bird toys, a large bag of bedding/litter, and 5 pounds of bird food, which will last them a very long time. Remind me to give you the dowel for the third perch that can be used when the roof of the cage is opened. I am asking for a small rehoming fee of $40 for these lovely birds.
