MidAmerica Talent is proud to present the 24th Annual “What’s Going On”, a celebration of the Life and Music of Marvin Gaye. The show will take place on Friday & Saturday, July 23rd & 24th, 2021 at Bunkers, 761 N. Washington in Minneapolis. Doors open at 8:00 PM and the music begins at 9:30 PM. Marvin Gaye was truly a unique and gifted performer. Musician, poet, activist and visionary, Marvin’s influence still has a powerful effect on people’s lives to this day. His influence can still be heard and felt in the music of today’s most popular artists. This year’s show will include performances by some of Minneapolis’ finest vocalists and musicians including Jay Bee, Maurice Jacox, Erica West, Lynval Jackson, Yohannes Tona, Daryl Boudreaux, Brian Kendrick, Brian Ziemniak, Walter Chancellor Jr., Troy Norton, Yonathan Bekure and several very special surprise guests. The show will include all of Marvin’s greatest hits, from the early Motown days all the way through “Sexual Healing”! Promoting live concerts in the Twin Cities for over 30 years!
