Hello East Bay families! My names is Caroline and I, as well as my dear friend Niko, are offering a 1-week nanny share, July 19-23, we're calling "Brave Animals", for ages 2-6, at Joaquin Miller Park in Oakland, from 9am-2pm, Monday-Friday. Sliding scale rates. Who we are... 2 queer, experienced outdoor educators who find deep purpose in fostering a sense of belonging in the relationship of children and nature. We are actively working toward right relationship with the land and QTBIPOC. Our mentorship models inclusion, centering the margins of our communities in a natural and developmentally appropriate way. We offer storytelling, music-making, fort building, plant and bird identification, emotional mentorship, scavenger hunts, and more! 🌿🍄🌲 We hope to connect with lots of families in this process whether you are interested in this week of childcare or not. We want to offer childcare especially to queer families as a way to both support and connect families within our community.
