The Food Bank Players present “Much Ado About Nothing” Who: A gaggle of actors performing for the Alameda Food Bank What: An outdoor production of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” When: Two weekends, four shows, September 4, 5, 11, 12 at 4pm Where: The Healing Garden, next door to Calafia Taqueria, 1445 Webster Street, Alameda How: With support from the West End Arts District, and the blessings of the Alameda Food Bank, we hope to perform live, outdoors, on the stage in The Healing Garden. Formerly a parking lot, this space has been transformed into a gathering place for artists, diners, lovers of music, dance, a place to sit and have a drink with friends, and now a theater. Details: Seeking fully vaccinated actors, aged 18 and up, to play all the parts in this great play! Auditions will be Tuesday and Wednesday, September 13 and 14, from 630-830 in a park across from 8 Souza Court, on Bayfarm Island, Alameda Prepare a Shakespearean monologue, or any monologue, and be prepared for some improvisational banter with the director. Rehearsals will be 3-4 nights a week on the stage in the Healing Garden, from approximately 630 to 8pm This is an unpaid project, with all proceeds going to the Alameda Food Bank To schedule an audition please reply to this posting.
