Healthy Habitat Hikes Join a park ranger and learn about what makes a habitat healthy while exploring our Refuge Gateway and Humbug Marsh units. Our refuge is filled with different species of plants and animals, all trying to survive, and we’ll discuss how and why some species are more successful than others. Learn about native and non-native species on the refuge and learn about what refuge staff are doing to help keep our habitats as healthy as possible. We plan to hike for around an hour, please dress appropriately. Sign-ups are required, please follow the link and sign up on Eventbrite.
