I'm just going to throw this out there and see what happens...
Like many other amateur musicians, I haven't played with other people since early last year. What's more, I just moved to the Sacramento area, so I don't know many musicians here. I'm itching to get back to playing some live music with a few cool people. The good news is that I can host (roomy/clean/cool/bathroom/fridge, 420 friendly).
Me: 49-year-old white dude. I play mainly bass but also some rhythm guitar, and I can sing a little. I have a wide range of musical interests, but mostly enjoy classic and progressive rock from the 70's and 80's, with some 60's and 90's. I also like other stuff from the 70's and 80's - Reggae, Disco, Funk, and even some Punk and Post-Punk/New Wave stuff.
You: Motivated to play and practice regularly, learn new songs, improve, and all that stuff. I'm not too concerned about demographics, but I do require responsible adults who are easy-going, trustworthy, and low-drama. Obviously, a drummer is at the top of my list, followed by a guitarist and/or singer.
If any of this resonates with you, hit me up and let's talk.
Chris
