We are looking for a few people to help us build hundreds of fake strawberries so that our robots can be tested (we build robots that help farmers harvest their strawberry crops). The process involves sorting parts, then filling a strawberry mold with silicone, attaching a green calyx and then attaching a magnetic wire. This is a temporary, contract position that will last 3-4 weeks, starting the week of July 13 (length of work depends on how many people we find). We would like a minimum of 20 hours a week, with the ability to work up to 40 hours a week. What we’re looking for - Excellent attention to detail - Interest in working with your hands, putting together small items - Comfort with repetitive tasks - Respect for shared workspace, tools, and others’ time; discipline with staying organized and tidy - Reliability, good communication skills and positive team attitude - Previous experience using a heat gun and/or gluing together products a plus - Ability to work 20 - 40 hours a week A word about COVID-19 Our office abides by all COVID-19 guidelines established by the State of Colorado and the City of Denver. This is hands-on work that must be performed in our office. Almost everyone in our office is fully vaccinated.
