Description
BRISTOL, PA — A Bristol Township family is without their home, and their dog, after a fire caused significant damage to a home in the 3000 block of Hilltop Avenue Sunday afternoon.
The significant fire damage was caused to the home's second floor, Kevin Dippolito, fire marshal of the Bristol Township department of fire rescue and emergency management, told Patch.
Smoke and water damage were evident throughout the rest of the house, which caught fire around 1:25 p.m., Dippolito said.
No humans were home at the time of the fire, Dippolito said, but one dog was killed. The Red Cross is helping the residents find temporary housing.
Dippolito said the cause of the fire is believed to have been electrical.
