Description
PHOENIX, AZ — Two people were killed and six were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Grand Avenue early Monday, authorities said.
The crash near 37th Avenue and Grand Avenue happened just after midnight, said David Ramirez, public information officer for the Phoenix Fire Department, which responded to the crash.
Three adult women, ages 30, 34 and 53, were critically injured, he said, and three children — a 3-year-old and 18-month-old twins — were taken to hospitals and but were listed as stable, Ramirez said.
No information was released on the two people who died in the crash.
Ramirez said Phoenix police would be taking over the investigation.
