We have an immediate opening for a skilled and reliable carpenter/tradesman for new construction residential installations and service/ warranty work. You will work on a variety of construction projects performing general tasks. These tasks include loading and unloading materials, installing interior trim products, door hardware, treated steps, treated hand rails, storm/ screen doors, exterior doors, windows and build outdoor fireplaces. You will work in different types of weather conditions. We primarily work with local clients, travels is required through the sandhill region. JOB DUTIES: -Prepare materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site -Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks -Adhere to all OSHA, health and safety regulations. -Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner -Clean and clear debris and materials at the end of each job REQUIREMENTS: -Valid driver’s license -Transportation (to one location) -Provide your own hand tools -Carpentry skills, able to read a tape measure -Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds -Able to work independently or as an active member of a team -Excellent communication skills
