I have a relative…by marriage. He did a sport in school and hurt his back, not too bad now. He has to take a pain pill now and then, however it’s not too bad. I know for a fact he belonged to a sports team a few years ago, he hunts, swims, works out. Walks. He also has a job and makes much better money than I ever did. So what is wrong? Well he went to the military and ended up convincing military doctors his back problems were caused by army training (he had a desk job). He got out and played up the pain, talked them into disability. Now he makes a few thousand bucks a month—tax free mind you. Add that to his substantial salary and he’s making almost a few hundred thousand a year. Amazing. I have moderate skeletal problems from a broken bone that never healed properly. Doctor has warmed me never to run again (don’t bully me because I WILL fight you..can’t run lol) or I might permanently re-injure it. Am retired and on a pension after working 33 hard ass years. I get ZERO disability. But no way am I going to turn him in, I said he married to blood relatives who I care for deeply. Still it’s a bitter pill to swallow when I go to his nice house, his nice pool, nice cars and see everything 2x nicer than what I have while he fakes almost my pension amount from taxpayers every month—-on top of his overly generous income. Life is not fair, and I’m either too stupid or moral to have played it right.
