Job Description- We are looking to hire a skilled Carpenter Apprentice. Most jobs are located at Silver Strand Beach/Oxnard & Port Hueneme. Most of our work includes: Remodels kitchen and bath, flooring, drywall and paint, door and window installation, etc. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Measure and cut materials. • Operate electrical, air-powered and regular hand tools. • Perform general construction labor tasks – e.g. site cleaning. • Assist with fabrication. • Hanging doors. • Millwork. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS • Carpentry experience (not just general labor experience) a plus • Knowledge of rough and finish carpentry a plus • Knowledge of the proper operation of hand tools • Ability to perform basic math calculations • Ability and Desire to listen and learn Part to Full time depending on job experience-pay $15-$30 per hour Licensed-Bonded and Insured
