Guitarist/singer looking to start up heavy blues/classic rock trio

Meets

Newark OH

Description

Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Rory Gallagher, Cream, Blind Faith, Led Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Free, Humble Pie, etc. Stuff in that vein. Also have some originals. Not interested in the same old standard classic rock covers everyone insists on playing. Please do not waste my time trying to derail the project by suggesting I play that stuff instead. Please do not bother asking me if I'm interested in joining your cover band that plays that stuff. Heavy Blues Rock. That means no Skynyrd/Bob Seeger/Tom Petty covers. No Gimme Three Steps, Some Kind of Wonderful, or Runnin Down A Dream. Heavy Blues Rock. I'm aiming more for a blues-based audience. Purple Haze, Oh Well, I Don't Need No Doctor, blues standards played heavy, and originals like that. That kind of stuff. Got it? Great. HMU if you're still interested. I am experienced and older. Been doing this for a long, long time. Just moved to Newark from Columbus. I have a bass player, mainly looking for a drummer. Experienced and knowledge of players like Ginger Baker, Ian Paice, Mitch Mitchell, Jerry Shirley, Jim Cox, John Bonham, etc. preferred. Need to be able to be spontaneous, go off-script, and jam/improvise, like the bands I mention above did in their live shows. I've got rehearsal space with some basic drum and bass gear and small PA. Easiest load-in you've ever had. No stairs, no narrow spaces, just one door. No bigots. You should not be in show business if you can't handle diversity. Thanks for looking.
