Astra is a mack super snow leopard gecko. She came to me several months ago with shedding issues which led to her losing several toenails. She is now shedding normally but her future owner will need to ensure she has a humid hide and keep an eye on her toes for any shedding issues. Astra is sweet and curious. She is a little slow to get used to change and will probably spend most of her time hiding for the first week or two. Once she is comfortable, she will typically come out and be active in the early evening. She loves to explore especially for the first 10-15 minutes after she is woken up and then likes to find a nice place to sit and watch me work (often on my laptop keyboard). She is a little sensitive to touch on her back but is happy being pet on her head. She is very good with people and has never tried to bite. Her favorite foods are discoids (her staple food), bsfl, and mealworms (as treats). She likes to drink from her water bowl and really enjoys hunting for her food in a large bin instead of having a food bowl. Astra should not be used for breeding. She will do best in a home that has time to interact with her most days and will provide a proper setup. I am also looking for a home that would be willing to send occasional pictures/updates on her. I am asking $150 for Astra. I will also give you some adult discoids to start a colony so that you won’t have to pay the high prices for her food.
