This is because ‘extremists’ tend to be the ones that are least emotionally stable. Political extremists from each side are the court jesters. They are like the town drunks. The cry out (often on CL) in an effort to feel relevant. But extremists are not relevant. Not unless they destroy our capital building or cities during protests. At which point they become criminals and enemies of society. Ultimately this nation protects extremists and their right to voice their opinions an political views. Realistically, extremists weaken this nation significantly. They view themselves are revolutionaries but ready they are a burden to society. Much in the same way that children are a burden to their babysitter.
