Need mechanic to rebuild carburetor on Chevy S-10

Garageman says mixture filter is bad and need to rebuild carburetor. 1983 Chevy S-10 2.8 l V6 pickup. Lacks power going up hill. I have bought the carb rebuild kit and a mixture control solenoid. Please reply with estimate of labor charges to rebuild and restore carburetor to run right.
