Job details Salary $10.00 - $12.00/hour Job Type Full-time (3-5 days per week) Part-time (1-3 days per week) Qualifications Must have a clean driving record Driver's License (Required) Driving: 1 year (Preferred) Full Job Description Delivery Position Salary: $10.00 -$12.00/hr. plus potential to earn bonuses Key Responsibilities: Drive your own vehicle to customer locations to deliver packages in a safe and punctual manner considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, traffic regulations, and driving conditions to meet customer requirements. Spend 90% of your shift driving/delivering and 10% of your shift in the warehouse Carry items up flights of stairs frequently. Must be a thoughtful, safe and responsible driver. Ability to function well outdoors during inclement weather (rain, snow, wind) and hot or cold temperatures. Work on a TEAM to provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns. Work as a TEAM to help other Driver Associates complete routes as needed. Adhere to company operating policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Operate a scanner to record shipping and package information for all documents/packages delivered. Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. These include: Physical Demands: Employee is required to stand, walk, sit and drive a vehicle. Employee is required to reach and lift with both hands and both arms. Employee is required to crouch, stoop and bend with both legs. Employee is required to talk and hear without assistance. Employee must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds in a single package. Good manual dexterity skills are required as well as good eye-hand coordination. Work Environment: Employee is driving a vehicle in urban, suburban and rural settings. Must be comfortable working alone in inclement weather and darkness and communicating with home office and supervisor.
