We excited to offer a part-time Maintenance Technician position at The Kamaole Sands Hotel located in Kihei, Maui. SUMMARY • Able to repair, maintain, and refurbish the facilities and its furnishings in an independent manner with minimal supervision. • Able to necessitate expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor appliance repairs. • Able to carry out assigned tasks in an efficient and thorough manner in accordance with quality standards as set forth by management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Able to utilize materials and supplies in an economical manner, and report needs to supervisor. • Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to supervisor. • Responsible for limited inventory control and ordering. • Complete daily trouble reports and timesheets in an accurate and understandable manner. • Responsible for the safe use and operation of all tools and materials associated with the tasks related to this position. • Maintain a clean and orderly work area. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 3 years of hotel or condominium resort interior maintenance experience or an equivalent amount of experience in related areas. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
